Jen DeFries

Jen has worked in the financial industry for over 20 years. She has served in various roles over the years, starting as an assistant in a group of advisors, where she studied for and passed her initial securities licenses. Jen worked for a few advisors over the years, being moved around by the US Navy, where her husband, Eric, served 20 years and retired. After moving back to Illinois in 2010, Jen worked in the home office of a small firm, holding positions in both the Operations and New Accounts departments. This was where she first met and worked with Sean Craig. After that, she found work at the home office of Investment Planners, Inc, where she worked for three years in our Compliance department. After gaining eight years of back-office knowledge, she decided she missed the client interaction and working directly with an advisor, so she joined Sean’s team in the Bloomington, IL office. She is here to help Sean’s clients in any way she can.
